DAS WAGE UNBEHAGEN, DASS ICH DIESEM ORT NIE FEHLEN WERDE 

Was die auf den Metroboards angebrachten Fotos zeigen, ist mein nicht vorhanden sein an diesen U-Bahnhöfen. Es ist nicht nur das Wahrnehmen meiner Absenz an diesem Ort.  

Es ist das wage Unbehagen, dass ich selbst diesem Ort nie fehlen werde, dass er schlichtweg ohne mich existieren kann. Dies ist ein Merkmal der Fotografie und das Merkmal des NICHT-ORTES schlechthin. Er nimmt mich nicht auf, so wie es die Gewohnheit meiner Wohnung ist. Er lässt mich allein, mit meinem Wunsch mich genau dort einzurichten. 

What appers on the installed photographs is my own nonexistence at this underground stations. It is not the notice of my absence alone. It is the experience of my own homesickness. 

This place will never miss me.

It occurs to me that this is not even a defining feature of photography but rather one of a NON-PLACE. The underground station will never host me like my apartment unsed to.  
It leaves me with my wish to make myself comfortable in this place.
